That's right! Thuja can be checked off of the list.
Plus, I revamped my layout. The whole thing was not done by me, I just used the old one (which is on
createblog.com if you want it) as a jumping off place. I can't sleep very well. I finished the socks over two hours ago and have since been tooling around on blogger editing my template.
So, I ordered some more yarn.... But it's sock yarn!! Sock yarn is okay. lol My Suzanne colorway by
Mama-E from
The Sweet Sheep, will be arriving first. Then I picked up some yarn from some Etsy shops. Nermal by
Cherry Blossom Fibers, and a Purpley-pink color (she never names them!) from
Kindred Spirits Yarn. Now, you may remember I have bought yarn from Kindred Spirits before. She is really awesome, I highly recommend her. The Nermal I saw in one of my Flickr groups and
had to buy. Had to. I resisted temptation at first...but I am weak! Actually, you will see that I have ammended my guidlines for KFYS 2007. Purchases only from my LYS are allowed, as long as they are for certain KALs she will be holding in shop. This first one excites me and I can't wait for it. Too bad she doesn't stock really awesome sock yarns. Also purchased were some neato cute things...which I think some of which will be gifted to certain bloggers who share my sock fetish.
Nermal will either be the I Dreamed of Africa sock, or the Snowflake sock. Can't decide which yet. Oh, and you will notice that I added asterisks next to some of the things on my To Do list, these are things I already have yarn for. It doesn't look like a lot though...eep! Let's hope I can do this. Maybe I'll just draw out things like Tubey and Justin's sweater. lol

awesome layout! :)
I too ordered sock yarn - I can't wait! I love the yarn I used for my mom's socks, but I uh, had only been exposed to the two extremes of yarn (Michael's cheap acrylics, and the TRENDY UBER SPENDY LYS all naturals in high prices) - hooray for learning about new places!
Speaking of Etsy stores, have you checked out Fearless Fibers? She's here in Oregon, and makes gorgeous, inexpesive yarns!
